All Across Africa and ProFlowers partnered for three total Mother’s Day campaigns in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Each year new weaving techniques were developed. Tassels, lids and open weave were explored. ProFlowers design team wanted a colorful and vibrant story, something that “popped!” in their site. We partnered in finding the correct materials, dye colors and type of product that fitted their vision & budget. I then worked on specs and guidelines for product development. Constant communication with Africa was required from my end in order to get the quality just right.

Up until 2016, this was the largest PO the company had undertaken, over 50,000 units had to be delivered in a just over a month. Hundreds of weavers worked daily on fulfilling these orders. All specs were translated to kinyarwanda, Rwanda’s official language. We trained the local community to make sisal tassels.
